Mini Second Dial, Glass Back
Absolutely stunning gold plated double hunter pocket watch from the Woodford collection. This watch benefits from the skeleton movement with a dual dial allowing you to see the inner workings and stunning craftsmanship that has gone into making this watch along with a 24-hour clock display, normal 12 hour functionality, seconds counter and the moon phase display. The watch has a white border with gold markings and the winder is located at the 12 o'clock position and sits on top of the case that's 52 mm in diameter and we will also provide a matching belt bar chain to securely attached to it. The watch opens out to stand independently as an ornamental clock offering maximum usability and the back and front shields are suitable for engraving. The watch will be beautifully presented in branded packaging and comes complete with the one-year manufacturers guarantee.
\r\nPull out the winder to set the time.
\r\nWinding clockwise both dials will move together, even if they are not set to the same time.
\r\nWinding anti-clockwise, the main dial will change, leaving the small dial where it was set.
\r\nThe sun/moon dial sets to the main dial. If incorrect, advance clockwise 12 hours.
\r\nExample: To set main dial to 10:15 and small dial to 09:15
\r\n1) Turn hand clockwise to set small dial to 09:15
\r\n2) Turn hands anti-clockwise to set main dial to 10:15
\r\n3) Push winder in to engage movement
\r\nThe moondial shows the moon at the top at midnight and the sun at the top at midday. To set day and night, wind the top forward 12 hours.
\r\nOpening A Double Hunter Pocket Watch
\r\nTo open a double hunter case, press the button on top of the winder gently to open the front case. Press the button further to open both the front and back cases.
\r\nTo close a double hunter watch, depress the winder, it is important that you don't \"snap\" the case-lid shut, doing this will wear out the latch.
\r\nWinding Mechanical Watches
\r\nWe recommend that you wind your watch at about the same time every day, preferably in the morning. Turn the crown clockwise gently and steadily and stop when you feel resistance. Excessively forceful winding could damage the movement.
\r\nTypically, mechanical watches have an accuracy +/- 60 seconds within a 24-hour period. This is due to temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, and altitude affecting the movement. For this reason, you should reset the time daily when winding the watch."}
